What is Dreg Blog?

dreg (dreg) n. A small amount; a residue.

DREG BLOG brings you a small, yet insightful, sampling of all that is out there - a residue, if you will, of the morass of information at your fingertips. But it is not just any old sampling. It is a compilation of what we find interesting or intriguing or humorous or touching or educational in that morass.

Water Confirmed on Mars - (STE)

NASA has confirmed that tests conducted by the Phoenix Mars Lander in June prove that water exists on Mars. The presensce of water, a crucial and believed to be necessary element for life, means that there is a legitimate possibility that life (even in the form of microbes) has existed, exists or has the potential to exist on Mars.
